Windows 11 Version 24H2 Update
This week, Microsoft has begun rolling out the Windows 11 version 24H2 update to the Release Preview Channel. This annual feature update introduces several new features, such as HDR background support, an energy saver mode, and improved voice clarity. Notably, it includes the ability to create 7-zip and TAR archives directly from File Explorer, and improved integration for Bluetooth Low Energy Audio devices. OneDrive Shortcut Bug
A new bug in Windows 11 has been affecting OneDrive users, causing shared folders to appear as internet shortcuts rather than regular folders. Changes in Copilot for Windows 11
Microsoft has downgraded the Copilot feature in Windows 11 to a web wrapper that opens in Microsoft Edge, which has sparked some discontent among users. The KB5039327 beta update for Windows 11 includes enhancements to the File Explorer’s tab integration with the taskbar, making it easier to identify open tabs.
